We enjoy good food at The Elms. The children’s input is invaluable. They produce seasonal salad, vegetables and fruit in their weekly Rural Studies lessons and the School and Boarders’ Council have their say regarding the menu choices.

We use the beef, pork and eggs produced on the farm when available, and in the garden we plan the harvesting of salad, vegetables, herbs and flowers to coincide with term dates. Excellent meat from the farm is periodically available to purchase.

Our chef and catering staff source other fresh and seasonal produce from local butchers and suppliers, so we try to keep the menu varied and nutritious.

Our match teas are famous for their deliciousness - ask any of the schools which play against us! The cooks make an enticing array of cakes and sandwiches; and they are brilliant at catering for special dietary requirements and food allergies.
