Parent Community
At The Elms we have many opportunities for parents to be involved in the School. The family environment is at the heart of everything we do and our parents play a significant role in this.
Parents get involved in many events and occasions and some examples are the annual Jazz and Swing Evening, Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, leavers’ sports matches, The annual Elms School Country Show, ‘Parents in Art’ week, riding events, tetrathlons, EYPP Easter bonnet parade, concerts, plays and every school match!
Our ‘Friends of The Elms’ committee meets regularly and organises social events from dog walks to quiz nights and the biennial ‘Elms Ball’ which fundraises for local charities and current school projects. Alongside these events we like to just meet for a coffee and a catch up when we can.
Parents are also invited to join in various classes hosted at the school including Pilates and Zumba.
