Gifted and Talented
Extension and enrichment at The Elms is an essential part of the daily curriculum. Many of our pupils display talents in sport, equestrianism, art, music and drama and as such have special requirements. Our programme helps to identify these talents, challenging pupils who demonstrate exceptional ability and potential, and helping them to excel.
Within the classroom, all teachers are aware of the need to fully support and extend all pupils, providing extension work to challenge and engage. After school clubs and activities, visiting speakers, concerts, plays, equestrian and sporting events all serve to provide an enriching curriculum.
