I have worked in education since 2007, when I joined my old prep school, Woodcote House in Surrey. After 8 years I moved to Windlesham House School, where I was head of boys’ boarding for 4 years. Before working in education, I worked in the recruitment industry for 7 years, managing teams and placing people in roles in the professional and financial services. Hattie has worked in all three schools too, where her main focus has been art, running the department at Woodcote, and then supporting the heads of art at Windlesham and Sandroyd. She has painted boarding houses and stage sets. At Windlesham she was a Houseparent with pastoral responsibility for 60 children in her House. She has recently set up ‘Hatts Designs’, with the main focus on drawing people’s dogs, horses or cats in graphite. She is super talented! Mimi is our eldest daughter (in blue), is 19 years old and on her gap year, planning to travel next year before going to Nottingham Trent University to read Psychology (Mental Health) in September 2023. George is 16 and in the Lower Sixth at Bryanston, doing A Levels and playing 1st XV rugby. Romilly is 9 and in Year 5, and will be joining The Elms in Year 5.
